Promotional posters

Here I have been working on the initial layout and plan for the promotional posters for the event.  I want to work with the three questions WHAT WHY and HOW so that each are answered in sequence on different posters.  Always more to read. Interesting and varied visual encourages people to ask more questions and want to find out more.

I looked into how I could use markings from the environment to inspire the posters. The literal idea of using the marks that are already there and to add your own mark to it. I think, although it works here, it seems to lack originality and flare so I want to head back to the drawing board to work out another root.

So as Sally Hargreaves will be setting up her own shop then its good to consider signage.  I think it should just stay really simple with the logo and name.  Really simple.

SIMPLY SIMPLE

This work for a badminton tournament seems to reek the type of feeling I want to give off.  Simple, effective design.  The use of objects within the work - although possibly obvious, works brilliantly because of the concept and colour within it all that ties everything together. It is obvious what it is for. Which is vital for my projects!
